As it was announced in the semester closing program of DSAIAM, the oral presentation for the second semester of the 2019/2020 academic year will be held on July 13 and 14, Monday and Tuesday, 10 am in the form of a calendar event configured for a group on the Microsoft TEAMS platform. Zsuzsanna Bácskai will configure the event, schedule the student presentations, and conduct the event in the TEAMS. She will inform all participants about the access and the way of event in time.
All students involved will receive the usual schedule. As you know, any student who have taken complex exam in this semester does not give oral presentation. 15 minutes are available for presentation including 3 minutes for committee questions. Do not repeat the list of publications, subjects absolved, and certified educational and project work from the written report. The only purpose of the report is introduction of doctoral research results achieved during the actual semester and their thematic relationships with previous and future planned results. Information about publication which includes detailed discussion of each result is also advised in the presentation. After presentation, the managing director will check the credit performance items together with the student in the usual way. Student who did not indicate any item in the self-assessment of the written report has the last chance to announce it.
Acceptance of the report is decided by a three-members committee, members of which listen presentations and ask questions as necessary. Members of this committee are the head of DSAIAM, the managing director, and Aurél Galántai founding head of DSAIAM, who also represents the mathematics branch. Supervisors are asked to be on-line during presentation of their students if possible. Committee members and supervisors will receive TEAMS access information in time.
